The foods are listed in a Nutritional Guide created by holistic healer, Dr. Sebi.

We follow this Nutritional Guide and have experienced relief of symptoms like constipation, digestion issues, adult acne, and severe joint pain and inflammation. We have created a detox book called the Mucus Free Food Detox and a cookbook series called Beyond Vegan showing how to put together a menu and healthy food habits to follow this modality.

We want you to get healthy now! So we put together a simple RESTART menu  using foods exclusively from the Nutritional Guide. We recommend following it for at least 4 days to see if you experience a better sense of wellness. We think you will. And we have made it easy with links to some of Chef Crush’s cooking videos for assistance.

We have created a successful workshop that discusses the African Bio Mineral Balance in detail and have received requests from 15 cities to bring our workshop to them. So we set up a Go Fund Me in order to help with with travel costs so that we can bring our message to those that need it.

African Bio Mineral Balance Detox

This food detox follows the African Bio Mineral Balance modality.  It is a modified version of one day of detox found in our book, Mucus Free Food Detox. These recipes are mineral rich and nutrient dense. They allow the body to eliminate toxins found while helping fill the body with “fuel” – foods that are the least detrimental to a body that may be mineral deficient like most that are “out of balance”. We are keeping it simple so that you can keep your costs low and cooking minimal. We want to see you succeed with basic foods that help the body maintain its alkalinity with ease. All of these foods can be found on Dr. Sebi’s Nutritional Guide.

Eating foods that do not contain processed sugar, dairy, yeast, meat, or soy will allow your body time to process nutrient dense foods without being impeded by tons of acids, which require more digestive work. Let your body relax and replenish itself.

EAT REAL FOOD

We hope that you will follow this simple detox for at least 4 days. This is especially important for people with digestive issues. Often, it takes 3 or more days for certain foods to cycle out of the system. So if you really want relief from an existing issue, at least 4 days of detoxing is best.

During the food detox you should also adhere to the following:

  1. Do not Microwave your food.
  2. Drink 1 Gallon of Spring Water daily.
  3. Eat fresh vegetables (nothing from a can).
  4. Do not drink alcohol.
  5. Use the exact ingredients listed. It is important that you eat only the foods used on Dr. Sebi’s Nutritional Guide.

Remember that water is an important piece of the puzzle. 35% of the time that you think you are hungry you are actually thirsty. You are 75% water. Sadly, well over half the world population is dehydrated regularly. Many of the issues you may have could be associated with not drinking enough water. Can you imagine how great your body will feel not only getting its full stock of minerals but also getting the proper hydration? Think about putting water infusions together if you get bored – key lime, cucumbers, and berries work great!

Start each day with Key Lime juice in a glass of a spring water shortly after waking up. This will help collect and remove toxins that have accumulated overnight. Key Lime raises the alkalinity of the water and can give you a boost of energy.

Breakfast – Begin with a smoothie to keep the digestion going first thing in the morning and to replenish some of the nutrients that the body uses in the evening during sleep. This Green Smoothie is packed with minerals and will provide the jump start you need to get your journey underway.

GREEN SMOOTHIE:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Kale
  • 1 small Green Apple
  • 1/2 cup chopped Cucumber
  • 1/2 Green Pepper
  • 1 Key Lime (squeezed)
  • 16oz Spring Water
  • 3 Dates (to sweeten if necessary)

Directions:

  1. Blend to smooth consistency. Enjoy !

Tip:

  • If you would like additional nutrients, you can add 3 tablespoons of Hemp Hearts to your ingredients list. To remix this smoothie, you can add a few Strawberries or Raspberries.

LUNCH

Lunchtime can be a really big challenge when we’re trying to eat better and stay on track. It should also be the biggest meal of the day, since we have the most time to digest this meal before we settle down for the evening. Vending machines, office snacks and microwave ovens in the break room are tempting merely for their comfort and convenience. But if we’re really being honest with ourselves, we know being sick is not convenient.

We continue our day of nutrient rich alkaline foods with Wild Rice Jambalaya. Eliminating the use of the microwave will raise the nutritional value of your food immediately. With a little creativity we can eat a warm lunch every day without radiation. One way to is to pick up a portable crock-pot. It’s a cost effective way to heat your lunch or keep it warm until you’re ready to eat.

Wild Rice Jambalaya:

What REAL Wild Rice should look like.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Wild Rice
  • 1/4 cup Kale
  • 1/4 cup Watercress
  • 1/4 cup Mushrooms (diced)
  • 14 cup Tomato
  • 1/4 cup Onion
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Basil

Directions:

  1. Bring 2 1/2 cups of water to a boil. Add seasonings.
  2. Add Wild Rice. Stir.
  3. Bring to a boil. Stir once more (do not stir again).
  4. Lower flame. Cook until water has evaporated (about an hour).
  5. Transfer to a large bowl. Fold in chopped ingredients.
  6. Add more of seasonings to taste (if necessary).

DINNER: 

As your day comes to a close it’s important to taper off eating to a lighter meal in the evening. A crisp and nourishing salad can replenish nutrients depleted during the day due to stress, dehydration or fatigue.

SALAD:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Romaine
  • 1/2 cup Watercress
  • 1/2 cup Kale
  • 1 small Plum Tomato
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt
  • 1 Key Lime squeezed
  • 1 pinch Onion Powder

Directions:

  1. Chop all ingredients and combine in a large bowl

Tip:

  • Dress with Sea Salt, Onion Powder, Key Lime, Raw Agave and Olive Oil (if desired)
